Keeping your edges sharp is a must if you want the best performance from your Skis and Snowboard. These Guides can help you maintain your edges in perfect condition.Cut from billeted aluminium they are a precision piece of equipment and a must for the serious self tuner.

DETAILS

  • Precision cut aluminium to a high tolerance
  • Quick change over using the spring clamp included so you cab swap from coarse to fine files and honing diamonds.
  • Easy to use

Although you will get good results from using the coarse, medium and fine cut files you can achieve an even better finish, using a diamond file to further polish and hone the edges to help remove the minute striations left by the previous filing processes.

As with any Ski and Snowboard maintenance sharpening process, the more time put in will repay you with a much smoother feel and response in addition to rock solid edge engagement into the snow.

Ensure you de-burr edges with a gummi stone as any hanging burr will snag up and cause a rough ride and can cause the Ski or Snowboard to “squirrel” from side to side rather than give a smooth carve.
