Northwave Edge SL Snowboard Boot Black
The Northwave Edge SL Snowboard Boot Black is a Freestyle and All Mountain boot with tons of tech for your money. The Edge replaced the Legend last year and is set to become “The” go to boot for entry level riders wanting to progress. The boot also will suit Freestylers and Intermediates who like a mid flexing boot without the sole being too flexible in landings.
As with all Northwave boots, they offer next level comfort without comromise.The Northwave Edge SL Snowboard Boot Black comes with the TF2 liner to give you the support and comfort you need for a day on the hill.
540°HEEL RETENTION SYSTEM.
The boot laces pass through pre-curved lace loops which helps the lace minimize its friction. When the laces are pulled to close the boot, they are at the same time pulling the webbings where the lace loops are linked. In this way the webbings shrink around the ankle, increasing heel stability. They can do this operation in a perfect way thanks to the fact that the webbing is passing through a hole from the side of the boot directing the pressure of closure all over the ankle area. The more the lace is pulled the more power will be transferred in the ankle area, increasing the heel retention performance and foot stability.
CONTOUR CUSHION
All our insoles are developed to match the thermoformable Northwave liners. The new insole Contour cushion consists of two EVA areas: one green and one black. The green part, more rigid, maintains the stability of your foot, the black part absorbs the strongest impacts.
