This Kunzmann Pocket Combi Edge Tuner Ski Snowboards 3114 is an economical tool that is great for on the slopes when you need a quick tune up on your side edges. 88 and 90 degrees.

Although you will get good results from using medium cut file included  you can achieve an even better finish by using the other grades of files available and then using a diamond file to further polish and hone the edges to help remove the minute striations left by the previous filing processes.

As with any Ski and Snowboard maintenance sharpening process, the more time put in will repay you with a much smoother feel and response in addition to rock solid edge engagement into the snow.

Ensure you de-burr edges with a gummi stone as any hanging burr will snag up and cause a rough ride and can cause the Ski or Snowboard to “squirrel” from side to side rather than give a smooth carve.
