The Capita Navigator Powder Mens Snow Board 161 was tested by myself and two other riders at the Spring Break Snowboard test on Kaunertal Glacier in Austria.
So what did we think ?……….
Well, as it happened in that week, we had one really good powder drop in which to try a multitude of powder sticks and this one came out on top of the pile. We even tried the shorter models of the womens both on piste and on powder. We have to say this is one of the most believable “all mountain” powder focused boards we have ridden. Super stable at speed on piste and unbelievably good in the powder – even in the shorter lengths. Slightly stiffer than other boards in the Capita range, it still had plenty of give without losing the pop for boosting decent ollies of rock drops and rollers. Another surprise was how well it rode in switch for a directional board but no dramas here really.
